As we know, there are a number of yoga styles and schools. Each tradition has its own way of approaching and
understanding yoga. It means various ways to practice and experience yoga! Kimiko will offer unique classes twice a
month on Wednesdays: Move to Connect and Stillness to Glow.
Wednesday 1- Move to Connect: Jan 11, Feb 8, March 22, April 5, May 17The physicalbyoga practice (asana in Sanskrit)
is the most common way to start and practice yoga. You simply move your body! But how often do you pay attention to your
body, how to bring awareness to your body, and notice your movement pattern to move into postures?

This is a profound opportunity to practice asana through the lenses of yoga philosophic concepts and bio & tissue mechanics in
a safe and mindful manner. The asana part of the practice is based on Hatha yoga-inspired movement, and short breathwork
and meditation may be included. Kimiko shares how to explore and approach postures in ways to a sense of liveness in your
body.

January: Avidya/klesha (ignorance), February: Saucha (cleansing), March: Svadhyaya (self study),
April: Tapas (heat, action), May: Ishvara Pranidhana (surrender)
Wednesday 2- Stillness to Glow: Jan 18, Feb 15, March 29, April 26, May 24

Every month, you will primarily practice 3-5 techniques in each category listed below with a short body movement. Kimiko
